If you’d rather have a proper hotel setup, we’ve sorted that too. The Crystal Hotel is about a four-minute walk from the gym — barely enough time to finish a podcast episode. It’s a 4-star property, so you get the full hotel experience: private room with king bed, en-suite bathroom, air con, balcony, daily housekeeping, 24-hour security, the works.

Rooms and balconies

The bathrooms have proper walk-in glass showers, which sounds basic but really isn’t a given on this side of the world. Rooms come with a TV and mini fridge, and the balconies have a pair of those striped deck chairs — the kind you don’t actually plan to use, but somehow end up in for an hour every afternoon. Some rooms have a small kitchenette tucked onto the balcony as well, if you want to make your own coffee in the morning.

The pool

The pool is genuinely good. Mosaic tiles, palm trees, wooden decking around the edges — feels more like a private resort pool than a hotel one. Recovery days here are a different kind of nice.

Hotel or apartment?

A lot of guests pick this option because they like the separation. Training happens at the gym, and when they’re done, they head back to a proper hotel where the only decision left is pool or balcony. Fair enough. The apartments and the hotel both work — it just comes down to what kind of stay you’re after.
